2022 Water Testing
Program

The Adirondacks are blessed with an abundance of clear, clean water. Therefore, most people take a safe water supply for granted. When clear, good tasing water comes out of the faucet, we assume it is safe to drink. Unfortunately, this assumption is not always correct. Most shoreline properties have a private water supply that needs to be tested regularly to confirm safe water.
Water Testing at Hamilton County Soil and Water Conservation District
Hamilton County residents and business owners can find out if their drinking and swimming water is safe. The District hosts the program May through September for Hamilton County municipalities, residents, and businesses with certified results.
