Indian Lake Flood Mitigation Project

The District provided flood mitigation assistance to the Town of Indian Lake in response to the Halloween Storm. Sediment deposited in the lake after a portion of New York State Route 30 washed away was removed. This project protected public safety, because this location was a snowmobile trail access point to Indian lake. The sediment created a large wall.
